Pete Ferry
It all started in 1997 in Warren, PA after years of watching the guy on TV with the afro complete a landscape in 30 minutes. Pete bought a few canvases and a Bob Ross kit, then tried painting the project in the kit. He threw the first try in the garbage in disgust. His wife recovered it and encouraged him to try again. By the third try, he had completed a decent painting. Since then he has certified in landscape (and seascape) as well as wildlife painting through the Bob Ross Certification program. Pete's work can be found in businesses and homes in PA, OH, NY, NC, FL, AZ, and Jamaica. He has taught hundreds of people to paint, with many successful enough to sell their work. Pete has completed 2 advanced seascape seminars at the New Smyrna Beach Workshop.

Karen started out as a Tole painter, but did not have the patience for the layering of different colors to achieve the desired outcome. Then she stumbled upon the One-Stroke
painting method taught by Donna Dewberry. She has since then embraced the One-Stroke painting style and become a certified One-Stroke instructor as well as an accomplished painter in the Dewberry style. She uses this technique to adorn many different substrates from canvas to glass, metal, wood, fabric, and just about anything that doesn't move.

Gary Harris
Gary has long been a fan of Bob Ross and William Alexander before him. After retiring from a 25 year career as an Air Traffic Controller, he moved to Brevard, NC and on a camping trip to Boone, bought a Bob Ross Kit on sale at the local art store. He was able to produce a nice painting and became hungry for more. He ran across Pete Ferry and his Bob Ross painting classes. Gary became a student of Pete's and after about a year, with Pete's urging, decided to become a certified instructor himself. He was certified in landscapes in November of 2010 at the Bob Ross studio in New Smyrna Beach, Florida after several weeks of intensive training. He loves painting in the Bob Ross style and teaching others to awaken the artist inside. Gary has completed an advanced seascape seminar in New Smyrna Beach, FL.
